Second contract for the supply of MiG-29K fighters to India to be signed the next year


Russian Aircraft Corporation “MiG” will complete the second contract to supply India 29 carrier-based fighters MiG-29K/KUB in 2016 and hopes that the Indian Navy will continue to purchase these aircraft.
“The contract with India for the fighters supply will be completed in 2016. Six aircraft will be delivered,” CEO of “MIG” Sergey Korotkov said.
According to him, 12 aircraft are to be supplied under the terms of the second contract. “This year, six in the next six” – a spokesman said.
