Two thousand soldiers in search for mines in Russian regions


The press service of the Central military district of Russia informs that the region hosts trainings organized for army engineers, joining more than 2000 soldiers and officers.

The soldiers are trained to carry out reconnaissance with non-contact mine-detectors, searching for radio-controlled landmines, tank mines and antipersonnel mines.

It is underlined that soldiers learn to build artificial obstacles with regular and improvised means, to construct new roads, shelters for military vehicles, and bridges.

In general the training, programmed up to March, 28, unites 350 items of machinery.
