The crews of combat helicopters and bombers in the surprise checks of combat readiness destroyed a group of the conventional enemy in the region of Murmansk.
Mi-8 helicopters worked with tactic landing troops, while Mi-24 secured the sky.
More than 50 units of machinery were used in the flights.
This time the trainings were centered on the Arctic.
The trainings, uniting 80 thousand soldiers, will last till March, 21.
The surprise checks came back to Russia in 2012 for the first time in the new history of the country. Such controls allow to develop internal cooperation in the army.
