Inspectors from Russia to hold an observation flight over Turkey

The Russian team of inspectors will make an observation flight over the territory of Turkey on March 23-27 under the International Treaty on Open Skies, head of the National Center for Nuclear Risk Reduction Sergey Ryzhkov told reporters on Friday.

“The Russian An-30B observation aircraft will fly off from Diyarbakir airfield following the route agreed on with the inspected side, and Turkish specialists on board will control the order of application of sensors and compliance with the provisions stipulated by the treaty,” – he said.

This is the ninth observation flight of the Russian mission over the territory of the Treaty countries in 2015.
