The Russian Black Sea Fleet marines will hold firings at the training ground in the Crimea, said Wednesday the press service of the Southern Military District.
“The “Novocherkassk” large landing ship transported part of the personnel, armored equipment of the self-propelled artillery battery of the marine battalion and armored vehicles of the self-propelled artillery battalion to the (polygon) Opuk. They will participate in the training of the SMD missile and artillery troops,” – a press release says.
Later the wheeled vehicles will march from Sevastopol to the Feodosiya area to places of performing practical tasks.
The training will involve up to 500 people.
