More than 10 rescue vessels will join the Navy in 2015


More than a dozen rescue vessels will join Russian Navy during the rest of the year , a spokesman of search and rescue operations service Damir Shaikhutdinov said.
Earlier, Navy Commander Viktor Chirkov said that one of the key requirements for the industry at the order of rescue equipment was import substitution. According to him, rescue vessels, which will be adopted in the Navy, will allow to solve the problems of search and rescue support for all modern warships.
“More than ten different types of rescue boats will be got in the structure Navy by the end of 2015,” – said Shaikhutdinov.
