Pilots of the latest Su-35 fighters held first combat missile launches of “air-to-air” class above the sea ground “Golden Valley” in the Sea of Japan during the exercise in Primorye, the Eastern Military District press service said on Friday.
“The launches were carried out at medium and high altitudes from different distances at air targets simulating bomber and fighter aviation of the imaginary enemy. About 20 different targets were destroyed. Pilots received excellent grades for the launches,” – a statement said.
Now the pilots of the Su-35, Su-27 and MiG-31 will work out tactics of air combat with the use of these machines.
