According to Tass, Iran will receive Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems this year.

This was announced today by Minister of Defense of the Islamic Republic, General Hossein Dehghan before he set off for Moscow.

“During my visit to Moscow, I will sign a contract under which Russia will supply these rocket launchers to Iran,” – said the Minister of Defense.

On April 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree lifting the ban on supplies of the S-300 to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
