22.5 billion rubles will be spent on the development of 6 touristic and recreation clusters in the Crimea from 2015 to 2020 under the federal target program for the development of the Crimea and Sevastopol.
“In total, there are 15 tourist zones in the Crimea. But we’ve chosen the territories that over the past 20 years did not see any private or public investments. Some of them are not developed at all, but have a unique tourist potential,” – said Minister of Tourism of Crimea Elena Yurchenko.
Construction of new accommodation, food and entertainment facilities in these clusters will be financed by investors, supporting infrastructure (access roads, water treatment plants, communications) will be provided at the expense of the federal budget.
