“Infauna” intelligence complexes delivered to Russian military base in Armenia

The first batch of the latest multi-functional complexes of communications intelligence and electronic jamming “Infauna” were brought into service of electronic warfare units of the Russian military base in Armenia, the press service of the Southern Military District said on Wednesday.

The unit will for the first time use the “Infauna” in battalion and basic tactical exercises set to be held in summer, said the agency.

Another batch of these EW systems based on the BTR-80 armored fighting vehicles will be delivered to the Russian compound in the Transaucasus by end of the year.
