Kazan Motor-Building Production Association has mastered the production of a number of VK-2500 engine nodes, which are set on Mi-8 and Mi-17 under the import substitution progra, the chief of Kazan Motor-Building Production Association bureau of marketing and advertising Arthur Askarov told RIA Novosti Friday.
Earlier these engines were supplied to the Russian Federation from the Ukrainian company “Motor Sich”, but military-technical relations with several countries now fully ended on the initiative of Kyiv.
“Exhaust pipes also passed certification audit of air starter. We are ready to start their mass production. In the final stage are power turbine and nozzle unit”, Askarov said at the conference “Information technologies in the service of the military-industrial complex” which was held in the Republic of Tatarstan.
