The “Helicopters of Russia” holding (part of state corporation “Rostec”) proceeded to another stage of modernization of the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant located in Buryatia; within two years the company plans to upgrade 80% of its equipment, the press service of the holding reported.
According to the press service, the modernization program will last until 2020. It is based on minimizing the use of manual labor, reduction of production cycle and improvement of product quality.
“At the moment, the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant is implementing several investment projects of technological development. So, under the Federal target program, the U-UAP is modernizing production of protective coatings worth $ 2.2 billion. In 2016, the enterprise will get three automatic lines, the cost of which will exceed 560 million rubles,” – the press service said.
