Implementation of forest changes space monitoring system “Kedr” which will monitor the situation in the forests of the Khabarovsk and Primorye territories, begins in the Far East, according to the website of Minvostokrazvitie.
It is noted that a decision on the testing and implementation of the system was made at a meeting in the Far embassy. In the first stage, “Kedr” will be introduced in test mode in the territory of certain forest areas, according to RIA Novosti.
“The authorities of Primorye and Khabarovsk territories are ready to test the system technically and institutionally. At the end of the year on the results of the testing proposals will be prepared to create a common information space in the sphere of protection and use of forests in the Far East,” it was reported to the director of the Department territorial and socio-economic development of Minvostokrazvitie of the Russian Federation Grigory Smolyak.
