Chinese warships to arrive in Vladivostok to take part in exercises

A group of seven ships of the Chinese naval forces will arrive in Vladivostok to take part in joint Russian-Chinese exercises, says chief of the information support department of the Eastern Military District press service, Captain 1st Rank Roman Martov.

On August 20-28, China and Russia will hold military exercises in the waters of the Peter the Great Bay and the Sea of ​​Japan. The trainings are named “Sea cooperation-2015 (II)”.

A visit of the Chinese military sailors, during which they will meet with the command of the Pacific Fleet and will pay an official visit to the head of the city administration, will last from 20 to 28 August.
