More than two thousand soldiers and 200 vehicles involved in the exercises of Rapid Reaction Force of CSTO


The joint exercises of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO “Interaction-2015” will involve more than 2 thousand servicemen and 200 pieces of military equipment, the commander of the Russian Airborne Troops Colonel-General Vladimir Shamanov said on Wednesday.

The ministry said Belarusian servicemen would travel to Tajikistan to train with their colleagues from other CSTO members — Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.

“In line with the CSTO Collective Security Council’s decision, a snap check of military formations of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force was launch to assess their readiness to perform designated tasks.”
