Russia’s Almaz-Antei air defense concern has ahead of time delivered to the Russian Defense Ministry the ninth regimental set of the S-400 antiaircraft missile defence system, the company CEO Yan Novikov said on Wednesday.
“We have delivered the first this year and ninth in general regimental set of the S-400 Triumph missile system to our main customer – the Defense Ministry of Russia, ahead of time. This system was scheduled to be delivered this November,” he said.
The Almaz-Antei head said that in accordance with the customer’s requirements, the equipment was handed over to the Defense Ministry representatives at a range with test firing on air targets. The acceptance delivery tests were successful.
