Shoigu invited developers of weapons from China to take part in “Army-2016”

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu invited the representatives of the Chinese military industry to take part in military-technical forum “Army-2016” which will be held next year in the exhibition and congress center of the “Patriot” park located in the Moscow region.

“I invite Chinese developers of armaments to take part in the “Army-2016″ forum. I’m sure they have something to show,” – said Shoigu in Beijing during talks with Deputy Chairman of the Central Military Commission of China Fan Chanlun.

Shoigu also invited Chinese servicemen to participate in the Army Games-2016, praising their results shown in Russia this year. The Russian Defense Minister noted high professionalism of soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army of China, as well as capabilities of military equipment, which the Chinese troops used during the competition.

More than 25 countries to visit MAKS-2015 in Russia

The International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2015 is opening on Tuesday in Zhukovsky near Moscow and will last until August 30.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit the air show on the opening day, said the Kremlin press service. The Head of State will examine the aviation exhibition, where he will get acquainted with production, tested and experimental developments of Russian and foreign aerospace industry.

According to the organizers, 119 aircraft are scheduled to participate in the MAKS-2015 on a static display, 18 of them will be presented by the Air Force. “Rosoboronexport” is for the first time using the format of an interactive installation for the presentation of promising export samples – the multipurpose Su-35 fighter and the Ka-52 attack helicopter.

Representatives of nearly 40 countries to take part in RAE in Urals

Representatives of about 40 countries have confirmed their participation in the Russia Arms Expo RAE-2015 set to be held in Nizhny Tagil, the governor’s press service of the Sverdlovsk region reported on Thursday.

“Representatives of about forty countries have confirmed their participation in the anniversary Xthe International Exhibition of Arms, Military Equipment and Ammunition, Russia Arms Expo 2015, set to be held on September 9-12 in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk region, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Government of the Sverdlovsk region” – a statement said.

In particular, the exhibition will be attended by representatives of the CIS countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan.

Delegates from European countries will arrive as well: Belgium, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Poland, Slovakia, France, Finland, the Czech Republic and Sweden.

Military representatives from 19 countries want to visit RAE exhibition in Urals

Military representatives from 19 countries are going to visit the Russia Arms Expo-2015 set to be held in Nizhny Tagil, the press service of the Sverdlovsk region governor reported.

The tenth anniversary international exhibition of arms, military equipment and ammunition, Russia Arms Expo-2015, will be held on September 9-12 in Nizhny Tagil. At the moment, about 160 exhibitors have confirmed their participation in the forum, 23 delegations are expected to arrive from near and far abroad.

In particular, to date, representatives of France, Belgium, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Hungary are going to visit the exhibition. African countries will be represented by Namibia and Angola. Delegations from the countries of the Commonwealth – Azerbaijan and Belarus – are also expected to arrive.

Newest way to pass “scout’s trail” shown at International Army Games

Russian paratroopers acquainted foreign participants in the International Army Games with their skills and showed a new way of passing a “scout’s trail”, spokesperson of the press and information service of the Russian Defense Ministry on the airborne troops Evgeny Meshkov told reporters on Thursday.

“Russian paratroopers during the “Landing platoon” competition demonstrated to participating teams from China and Belarus capabilities of advanced Russian military equipment of the Airborne Troops, and acquainted them with capabilities of the site and training facilities of the Ryazan Higher Airborne School,” – he said.

Ka-52K helicopter created for “Mistrals” to debut at MAKS

The latest Russian Ka-52K combat helicopter, which was created for deployment on the “Mistral” type helicopter-carriers, will make its debut at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS, the press service of “Helicopters of Russia” holding (part of “Rostec”) told RIA Novosti on Thursday.

Earlier, the combat vehicle had already been demonstrated to the audience at the Naval Salon, which was held in St. Petersburg this July. MAKS will be held on August, 25-30 in Zhukovsky near Moscow.

The Ka-52 “Alligator” helicopter which became the basis for the Ka-52K, will demonstrate aerobatic maneuvers in the sky during the air show. The “Helicopters of Russia” holding, in addition to the “Alligator”, will present the Mi-28NE “Night Hunter” (its export version).

Rogozin called everyone connected with SDO to attend RAE-2015 conference

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin called for everyone involved in the performance of obligations under the state defense order to attend the Military-Industrial Conference set to be held at the Russia Arms Expo exhibition (RAE-2,015) in Nizhny Tagil in early September.

According to organizers of the RAE, at the moment about 160 exhibitors have confirmed their participation in the forum, 23 delegations are expected to arrive from the near and far abroad. In addition, an Interstate Commission for the CSTO Military and Economic Cooperation will be held as part of the RAE. All agreements with representatives of the CSTO nations have been achieved, questions for discussion at the meeting have been formed. In particular, organizers expect a visit of the Azerbaijani delegation which will participate in the meeting of the Interstate Commission on the CSTO.

New armaments to be presented in October at Innovations Day in EMD

The latest units of military equipment and armaments will be presented in Khabarovsk at the Innovations Day which will for the first time be held in the Eastern Military District, the district reported on Thursday.

“The Innovations Day will be organized in the form of an exhibition, where military units of the district will present samples of modern weapons and military equipment, which entered service in the past and this year, some of them will be demonstrated in action,” – a statements says.

It is noted that representatives of enterprises and organizations, research institutes are invited to participate in the exhibition with their developments. The technologies proposed by participants will be further used in the army.

“Kalashnikov” to present battle group of landing boats at “IMDS-2015”

The “Kalashnikov” concern will for the first time present a single battle group of multipurpose amphibious boats equipped with drones at the VII International Maritime Defense Show (IMDS-2015) in St. Petersburg, the press service of the company said on Wednesday.

The seventh International Maritime Defense Show is held in St. Petersburg on July 1-5, 2015: more than 30 Russian warships, boats and support vessels are represented there.

The single battle group of boats, developed in cooperation with specialists from the Russian defense structures, includes the latest BK-16 transport and landing boat, BK-10 assault boat and new BK-9 fire support boat that has no Russian analogs, which is equipped with armor plates to provide increased protection of Airborne personnel.

Next “Army” forum to be held in September 2016

The second international military-technical forum “Army 2016” will be held in September 2016 in the Moscow region, says the list of international exhibitions of military products, published on the official web portal of legal information.

The first “Army-2015” forum was attended by over 200 thousand people. Representatives of more than 70 countries, including 38 official delegations, participated in the event. All types and kinds of the Russian Armed Forces, enterprises of the military-industrial complex, leading research organizations, developers of weapons, military and special equipment took part in the forum.
