Kalashnikov to Present More than 140 Types of Weapons at the Exhibition IWA & Outdoor Classic 2014

From 7 to 10 March 2013 Concern “Kalashnikov” included in Rosteh, took part in the international exhibition of sporting and hunting goods IWA & Outdoor Classic 2014 in Nuremberg (Germany). At the joint stand of the concern more than 140 samples of hunting rifles were presented.

iwa_logo_kombination_f_rgb_The German national product show for the retail gun trade and gunsmiths opened its doors in Nuremberg for the first time in 1973 with just under 100 exhibitors. The international name IWA OutdoorClassics is due to the rapidly increased importance beyond the borders of Germany and the multi-theme range of products, which covers the spectrum between traditional craftsmanship and innovative ideas for outdoor equipment, functional clothing, hunting sports and shooting sports. This year, IWA OutdoorClassics presents a more attractive, more colourful and more comprehensive event that is a must for trade and industry.

At the booth of 200 square meters we could observe a wide range of civilian weapons, produced by JSC “Concern Kalashnikov”, JSC “Izhevsk Mechanical Plant “and JSC “Vyatsko-Polyansky Machine Works “Molot”.

1420Some of the samples the European consumer saw for the first time. It’s for example new items of Baikal brand – autoloading shotgun MP- 135, air pistols MP-654KM, MP- 657, MP- 657K, gas-cylinder rifles MP -553, MP- 553K.

Concern “Kalashnikov” presented already known civilian models – sports carbine “Saiga- MK- 107”, gun for practical shooting “Saiga -12 isp. 340″and carbine “Saiga- 9” in caliber 9×19 mm and 9×21 mm, scheduled to be released this year.

saiga-mkVyatsko-Polanski plant “Molot” introduced more than 20 self-loading rifles and shotguns, including new performance carbines series “Vepr” 7,62×39 mm and 308Win, carbine “Grifon” with changeable barrels caliber 223Rem,.308Win and 20×76 mm, and hunting carabines caliber 9×19 mm and.22 LR based at AKM.

1318263459Delegation of concern “Kalashnikov” was headed by CEO Alexei Krivoruchko. At the exhibition the representatives of the Concern held talks with dealers, as well as with potential partners in the supply to the enterprise of modern machines for production updates.
