This year, four “Nebo-M” and “Nebo-UM” radar stations will be put on combat duty in the Eastern Military District.
The stations will enter the radar units stationed in the Trans-Baikal, Khabarovsk and Primorye territories, and supplement the overall system of airspace control.
New radar stations refer to interspecific radar stations of large and medium altitudes. Complexes are able to analyze information at working heights about low-dimensional hypersonic and aerodynamic targets in harsh weather conditions, transmit the information gathered to the combat ABM units – medium and low range anti-aircraft missile units.
