Russian experts to check military training grounds in France

Russian military experts will inspect an area in northern France where NATO is going to hold an exercise, Sergei Ryzhkov, the director of the Russian National Center for Reduction of Nuclear Risks told TASS.

“In line with the 2011 Vienna document on trust-building measures a Russian inspecting group will do inspection of the aforesaid area of the French territory from March 10 through to March 13,” he said.

The area in question has been chosen for a joint headquarters exercise of the new Army rapid reaction corp. It has been codenamed Citadel Kleber 2015. Army units from Belgium, Britain, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Canada, the Netherlands, Romania, the U.S., Turkey, and France have been invited to attend.
